Practice Manager

As the Practice Manager at Tangled Roots, Ivy is often one of the first friendly faces you'll meet. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience for every client, helping ensure that your journey with our practice feels seamless from your very first interaction. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, Ivy manages client scheduling, billing, insurance questions, and administrative support, serving as a trusted resource for both our clients and clinical team.

A proud member of the Buffalo Grove community, Ivy is passionate about building meaningful relationships and supporting the well-being of the families she serves. With more than 25 years of experience as an educator, she brings exceptional compassion, patience, and understanding to her role. Her years in the classroom taught her the importance of meeting people where they are, fostering trust, and creating environments where individuals feel seen, valued, and supported.

Whether she's helping new clients get connected with the right therapist, answering questions, or supporting our clinical team behind the scenes, Ivy approaches every interaction with kindness, empathy, and genuine care. She believes that even the smallest moments of connection can make a meaningful difference.

Outside of the office, Ivy values slowing down and enjoying life's simple moments. She enjoys soaking up the sunshine at the beach, exploring new places through travel, going for bike rides, getting lost in a good book, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and, most importantly, spending quality time with her family.
