Norman Berry, LSW
Clinical Therapist
Norman works with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating a range of challenges, including trauma, mood dysregulation, substance use, relationship difficulties, and grief. He is also passionate about supporting individuals in building self-esteem and takes a thoughtful, intentional approach to addressing men’s mental health.
Norman brings a warm, easygoing, and non-judgmental presence into the therapy room, creating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and comfortable showing up as themselves. He meets clients where they are, understanding that each person’s experiences and needs are unique.
His approach is trauma-informed and client-centered, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Norman tailors his work to each client, helping them build practical tools, strengthen emotional awareness, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity.
Norman earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University and is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Illinois.
Outside of the therapy room, Norman values staying active and creative. You can find him playing sports or spending time in the kitchen, where he enjoys cooking, often while singing along to his favorite music.
A Note from Norman
You don’t have to have everything figured out to start.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, and it’s easy to carry things on your own for longer than you should have to. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being real, where we can work through challenges together and build tools that actually work for your life.
