Anna Kramer
Practice Manager
As the Practice Manager at Tangled Roots, Anna is often one of the first people clients connect with when beginning their journey with us. She understands that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and she is passionate about making those first steps feel a little easier, warmer, and more human.
With more than 25 years of professional experience, Anna brings a diverse background in sales, accounting, operations, and mental health administration to her role. After transitioning into the mental health field as an Operations Coordinator, she developed a deep appreciation for both the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a practice running smoothly and the meaningful connections that help clients feel genuinely cared for.
Anna believes that the experience of therapy begins before you ever step into the therapy room. Whether she is helping someone find a clinician who feels like the right fit, coordinating appointments, answering questions, or simply offering a warm welcome, her goal is to create an experience that feels supportive, organized, and approachable from the very beginning.
What drew Anna to Tangled Roots was the genuine care behind the practice and the belief that people shouldn't have to navigate difficult seasons of life alone. She values being part of a team that prioritizes connection, authenticity, and meaningful care, and she is grateful to play a role in helping clients find the support they're looking for.
Outside of the office, Anna values connection, new experiences, and time with the people she loves most. She enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, their dog Linus, and their cat Nemo. You can also find her traveling, trying new restaurants, spending time with friends, enjoying concerts and local festivals, or finding something fun to do with her family. And sometimes, the perfect evening is simply being at home together with a great show to binge-watch.
A Note from Anna
Taking the first step doesn't mean you have to know exactly what you need or have everything figured out. Sometimes, knowing that you're ready for something to feel different is enough.
My role is to help make what comes next feel a little less overwhelming. Whether you're trying to find the right therapist, have questions about getting started, or simply aren't sure where to begin, I'm here to help you navigate the process.
I hope that from the moment you connect with Tangled Roots, you feel welcomed, cared for, and confident that there are real people on the other side who genuinely want to help.
I'm grateful to be part of your first step, and I look forward to welcoming you to Tangled Roots.
