Yarely Reyes, LPC

Clinical Therapist

Yarely is a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist who works with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, substance use, perfectionism, life transitions, and the lasting impact of abuse. As a first-generation Latina, she is especially passionate about supporting Latinx individuals and brings a unique cultural perspective to her work. She understands the complexities of balancing cultural expectations, family dynamics, identity, and the pressure to succeed while honoring one's authentic self.

Yarely strives to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered, especially those who have spent much of their lives feeling overlooked or afraid to use their voice. She believes healing begins when individuals are met with compassion, curiosity, and the freedom to explore their experiences without judgment.

Clients appreciate Yarely's collaborative, warm, and direct approach. She gently challenges clients to move beyond societal expectations and internalized beliefs while helping them reconnect with their strengths and build a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and aligned with their values.

Yarely is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and has additional training and experience working with individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. She integrates trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Motivational Interviewing. Her work focuses on understanding the root causes of emotional distress, strengthening resilience, and equipping clients with practical tools for lasting change.

Yarely earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Behavioral Neuroscience, from North Central College.

Outside of the therapy room, Yarely enjoys running, attending concerts/festivals and spending time with her loved ones and her cat Luna.

A Note from Yarely

For many people, life becomes about meeting expectations, staying strong, or putting everyone else's needs before their own. Over time, it's easy to lose sight of your own voice. Our experiences, families, and cultures shape who we are, but they don't have to define who we become.

Therapy is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore your story with honesty, courage, and self-compassion. Whether you're carrying the weight of past experiences, navigating cultural expectations, or learning to prioritize yourself for the first time, my hope is that our work together helps you embrace who you are, reconnect with your strengths, and create a life that feels authentic, balanced, and true to you\

Healing isn't about becoming someone different, it's about coming home to yourself.
