TEEN THERAPY
Adolescence is a time of rapid change, emotionally, socially, and personally. Teens are navigating school, friendships, family dynamics, identity, and increasing independence, all while still learning how to understand and manage their emotions.
For parents, you may see these changes show up at home or school and feel unsure how to help, how to connect, or how to support your teen in a way that actually reaches them.
For teens, you might be dealing with stress from school, friendships, family expectations, or figuring out who you are and where you fit. Some days might feel overwhelming, confusing, or just exhausting, and it’s not always easy to talk about it. Being a teenager can feel like a lot.
You might notice things like overthinking, anxiety, mood swings, feeling stuck, shutting down, or getting frustrated more easily. Or maybe you just feel off and don’t really know why.
At Tangled Roots, therapy is a space where you can show up as you are, no pressure, no judgment, and no expectation to have everything figured out. You don’t have to explain things perfectly or talk about anything before you’re ready.
This is your space.
HOW THERAPY CAN HELP
Teen therapy provides a space for teens to explore what they’re going through while building tools to navigate life more confidently. Together, we may work to:
Understand and manage emotions, stress, and anxiety
Improve communication within friendships and family relationships
Build confidence, identity, and self-esteem
Navigate school pressure and life transitions
Develop healthy coping strategies that feel realistic and effective
We also support parents in better understanding their teen, improving communication, and creating a more connected and supportive environment at home.
Our goal is to help teens feel more confident, understood, and supported, while helping families feel more connected, aligned, and equipped to navigate this stage together.
